Business Plan

The Email Marketing Council has identified the following key annual objectives:
  • Email Marketing Best Practice Guidelines - finalising and publishing the Guidelines.


  • Benchmarking - work with tank! to establish research on benchmarking in email marketing by producing a quarterly release to measure the success of campaigns.


  • Deliverability - creating a forum to find solutions to problems concerning bulk emailing following up on new links with other industry bodies, which have an interest in developing email marketing and e-commerce, including ISPA and LINX


  • Education - starting up an annual one day event attracting clients and agencies and smaller specialist training programmes.


  • PR/ Comms - to improve communication between the Council and the Interest Group with a monthly newsletter and to develop the Council area on the DMA Website to create an information and promotional tool for DMA Marketing members and enquirers.
